Going back home, Shane (Derrick Pierce), a somewhat rough looking man, sees Anita’s (Autumn Falls) car stall. It won’t start no matter what she does. Well if she wants, his house is right there, he says, pointing to his nearby house. It’s Carly’s wedding night, but she’s far from happy. Her husband, Dean (Chad Alva), enters the room and seems to delight in her being miserable. Carly is with Dean because he was witness to a hit-and-run where she was the driver. He promised to keep her secret as long as she does anything and everything he says, including marrying him.
